I would to know if it is possible to to get parentId of a item in a locked tree (dhtmlxTree). When I try to obtain it, i have a blank result.

The locked item is not operable, so any function which operate with locked item will be blocked.

The only way is:

  1. unlock item
  2. run function
  3. lock item again

Not much can be said in addition to the reply above, but you also can check javascript ajax xml and php ajax tools and find out what we have probably missed in our explanation.
