lockRow doesn't work when the grid is split.

I am having a grid that is split at 2.

mygrid.splitAt (2)

This call happens after the grid is loaded with data from XML.

At a later point in time, when I try to invoke lockRow(rowid, true) on a row, only those cells of the row that fall to the right hand side of the split, get locked. The cells in the left remain editable. Is it a bug or am I missing something?
