Sample XML format & definition

Hi,

I would like to know the location from where i can get the sample XML formats specifying all the parameters to specify for the dhtmlx components. I am facing issue on the following items & could not find any sample xml specifying these in the provided examples:

1. adding offset to the tabbar
2. how to hide the command in any toolbar. (I want the command to be available in toolbar definition but it should not be visible by default. I wish to make it visible depending on some user action).

Could you please provide me with sample xmls which specify all the properties which we can set from the script mode loading of various components.

Thanks,
Vibhav Agrawal

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I am facing an issue in which i need to create a toolbar with some commands which should be hidden. On some action on the page, we will make them visible, but by default those commands should be hidden.

I am generating the toolbar by sending the XML response from the server, so cannot use the script mode to explicitly hide the toolbar commands. The sample xmls you provided has no example explaining this scenario of passing some hidden command items.

Could you please provide a solution to my problem?

Thanks,

Vibhav Agrawal

Hello,

unfortunately there is no way to pass additional information in the xml. The possiblity to use <userdata> tag to pass additional data will be added in one of the next versions.

If you need this feature soon, please contact us at support@dhtmlx.com
