dhtmlx scheduler 2.1 & Internet exploer 8.06 & rendering error

I was updating from older version, and had no problems with script until I tried on 2 computers with internet explorer 8. The calendar renders incorrectly. If I remove this line of code, then it seems to work again.

Is this a critical item, or can I leave it out?

If you not using any from extension , added in version 2.1, you need not additional css file. 
But we are not able to reconstruct the issue locally. Is problem occurs in default samples? Are you using IE8 in standard or compatibility|quirks mode.
