dataProcessor problems with Internet Explorer 6

This is follow up to your answers to my previous questions:

I am using dataProcessor as you say:
grid.setUpdateMode("off");
grid.sendData();

and the behaviour is quite different in IE than FF when processing many
grid rows.

I need to stop using dataProcessor and submit the serialized grid as a
single request. Do you have code that shows how to do this in Ruby
on Rails?
