include children when drag/drop from TreeGrid to TreeGrid When I drag/drop an item from one tg to another, it doesn't seem to include the items children. Am I missing something? Answer posted by Support on Mar 25, 2008 03:00 Which version of treegrid you are using ? Latest build, which was released on 03/21/2008, already contain fix for mentioned problem, if you are using older version of treeGrid - please contact us directly at support@dhtmlx.com and provide your ref. number - we will send you necessary fix. Answer posted by Stevo on Mar 25, 2008 08:24 It was emailed to me a couple of weeks ago from the support team. I am currently evaluating the professional suite for 30 days. Answer posted by Support on Mar 25, 2008 09:31 There is a difference between stable version, and latest dev. code. The mentioned fix was not included in previous stable version ( build 71114 ) and was released as part of latest build ( released on 21/03/2008 ) so most probably you have original version without necessary fix. Answer posted by Stevo on Mar 25, 2008 10:21 Thanks for the fix. It appears to be working. Is there anyway to have smartParsing enabled and have it copy over all children without having to expand the source node first? Answer posted by Support on Mar 25, 2008 10:33 The closed branches in smartXMLParsing mode stored as XML description and not operable, so, to do anything against them they need to be parsed first ( which triggers by node opening ) |
