Fix column while scrolling horizontally

Hi,

I am using the grid and suppose it has 10 columns
>>1 : Empployee_name
>>2:Employee_sal
>>3 : employee:birthdate
>>

>>10:Emp_StartDate

The present data makes the grid such a way that we have to scroll to see the last column and its a pain to remember the Name.
So I am thinking if I can make the Employee Name column fix , so when I move horizontally column2,3,4... hides behind the column one
till the view is suitable.

So how can I glue this column? Is there any way??
