multiple rows inserted when using tab to switch between cells

When Tab is used to switch between two cells multiple rows are inserted .
In other case if mouse is used to edit the cell then its works fine.

By default tab only change active cell in grid, please check you custom code attached to grid's events , most probably this is result from one of them.
