row height preserving

hi,
I am using multiline functionality.
When I have 3 rows in a cell, row height is adjusted automatically. But when I deleted that data from cell, row height still preserve.
?

If you are using grid in normal mode  - the height of row must be updated automatically.
If you are using grid in split mode - height of row will not decrease, this is known limitation

If problem occurs for you in normal mode - please provide any kind of sample where problem can be reconstructed.
