eXcells: How can I attach an eXcell to a standard HTML table cell? Hi, I need some cells in an HTML table on my page to look & behave the same way as the DHTMLX Grid eXcells on the same page. Is there a quick way of attaching an eXcell behaviour to a plain HTML <TD> object? If not, can you give me some hints as to where to start? Thanks in advance, Jon (and thanks for all the quick responses to my other questions so far!) Answer posted by Support on Sep 15, 2008 08:11 There are no ways to apply grid methods to simple table. We cann't provide you any universal approach. You can use event handlers (for example, "onclick") in order to show input element where data can be editted. And when some event is occured you can detach editor and place data from the editor to a cell. |
