prevent new row select if in edit mode

Hi

if the user is in edit mode of a cell, i want to prevent them from selecting another row until they have come out of the edit mode of the cell. is there a way to do this?

for example, they may be in cell edit mode and then click on a new row to get out of the edit mode of that cell, but if this is the case then i want the grid not to switch to the new row but instead come out of the edit cell mode and have the current row remain selected - and then they can click on the new row to select it

thanks

It possible to block any selectino by using onBeforeSelect event, but still any click inside grid's area will switch off edit state. ( so by second click it will bot possible to select any row )

grid.attachEvent("onBeforeSelect",function(){
     if (this.editor) return false;
     return true;
})
