Tree drag and drop compatible with scheduler

I have an interest in using the tree component with the scheduler app. If I use these components together, is there a custom drag listener for the scheduler that can be configured such that, when I drag an element from the tree and drop it to the scheduler the event dialog can be pre-populated with data from the tree? For instance, suppose I have a tree of "events" and I want to drag an event onto the scheduler so it can be scheduled. Thanks.
