dhtmlxvault

Hi,

we are attempting to assess your dhtmlxvault but we are very confused about the server handlers and how to program them for ColdFusion

do you have any samples of the server handlers for ColdFusion?

thanks

Hi

i am finding it very difficult to understand exactly what the code in the 3 server files is doing. If i knew what each line of code in them was doing then i could develop this in ColdFusion.

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a detailed description of what is happening (the descriptions in the documentation has not made me understand it enough to develop the server handlers in ColdFusion)

thanks for your help

Richard

i have tried to get this to work for 3 days and now giving up.

i think its bad that you didn't even reply to my request. You did not even provide me with any helpful advice.

when you do provide coldfusion samples then please send them to me, as for now i am having to look for another solution.

very disappointing as your support is usually good, but not on this occasion

Dear Richard.

If you could read Java or ASPNet samples, you can easily understand what are they doing. And the documentation clearly says that: one script (GetIdHandler) is initializing the new uploading session and sends back the new uploadID, second (UploadHandler) is doing uploading and storing progress in a session variable using this uploadID, and the third one (GetInfoHandler) returns back percent complete basing on the uploadID.

On my mind it is pretty clear.

We do not have plans to support ColdFusion yet, it is not so popular.

Perhaps i am just stupid then, i shall find a very simple solution from another company as your company is far too intelligent

Hi Just read your reply and I can not believe how ignorant and unprofessional your reply was to a post from R White. There are many Coldfusion developers out there and dhtmlx should take this into consideration. Just a note - it does not take a lot to be polite!!!!!

As this is not supported functionality, I'll forward your request to the development team, so they can quote you for development of Coldfusion back end.
