dhtmlxtree

Excuse my English,
Please I am with doubts about the dhtmlxtree
I am using PHP with Postgres and would like to put a link on the menu searching the database, but unfortunately I could not.
Would you send me an example.

The component is fully client side, so it can be used with any server side technology. 
You can use 
   tree.loadXML("some.php");

Where some.php is a server side script which will connect to the DB , fetch necessary data and output it as XML
