:: DHX XML Editor :: Some queries

Hi there,

I am using dhtmlxSuite 2008 Rel.2 Professional edition build 80512.
I saw your demo application: http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs/products/demoApps/dhtmlxXMLEditor/ which edits the provided XML file.
As far as I know, this is not a separate component like other DHX components, it is just a application, isn't it ?

I just wanna know whats the purpose of this XML editor ?
Will it be compatible with my version of DHX components ?
Can I use it in our application ? If yes, can you provide the related files ?

Yes, all GUI based on existing components, but it is a sample app, not some kind of complex component.

Just a sample of component and layout usage.

It will work with any dhtmlx 2.0 components and any later.
Technically base logic will work with dhtmlx 1.6 ( your version ) as well, but layout was introduced only in dhtmlx 2.0, so it will require custom GUI arranging.
