50000 rows in the grid

Hi i am creating an xml file at runtime which extract data from database and the xml thet gets created contains more than 50000 rows now i want the grid to display the rows by paging can you please provide me with an example in which the grid gets loaded with a long xml file i am using servlets and jsp so please provide example using html, xml ,jsp .. i have pro edition and it contains example in php which i am not able to understand.
