Group by link column

I'd like to group by a link column. The cells of this column contain links with common titles but different links. It seems like the grid respects also the url when grouping. How can I turn this off to group only by link title?

You can do it by redefining getValue method of link excell
Unfortunately it can be done only be code customization. 

Customized version of related js file attached to email, please try use it instead of original one.
