Hotkeys for menu Items

Hi,

I want to set hot keys for main menu items in my screen,. so that when the user presses Alt+Key, the submenu for that item opens up.

Such functionality not supported by current version of components. 
Actually - the "alt" key combination not accessible from the script in all browsers - so such feature can't be implemented in cross-browser way.
