Enforce reloading of tabs when selected - still does not work

I refer to my question from yesterday, regarding the possibility to enforce reloading of a tab when it gets selected.

You suggested to return true from the OnSelectHandler. I had already tried this and I have now tried again, but without success: tabs are still not selectable anymore.

How can I solve the problem? Is there maybe a completely different way to enforce reloading?

Btw: I am using the tabbar in ajax mode and I need the reloading because in my case, changes in one tab can affect the content of other tabs.
