CSV export with paging enabled

I have a problem where I need to use either smart rendering or paging since I will be displaying large data sets.
However, if smart rendering is enabled, the export to csv function does not work anymore.
So i switched to using paging, and while the csv export works. It will only export to the highest viewed page.
For example:
There's 20 pages of output. I have clicked on page 12. The csv export will only output everything up to page 12.
The only way to get all of the results into the csv is to click on the last page first.
Is there any other way I could do this?
