Insert Space into dhtmlxgrid

Is there any way to make it so you can type a space while editing a field in xgrid?

Can you please explain more details about problem , because all cells in my tests react normally on spacebar.
If you want to save exact count of whitespace entered ( by default they will be shown as single whitespace ) you need to use pure text excells ( rotxt, edtxt, txttxt )
