Must I reload the complete tree after using enableMultiline?

Hi,

Must I reload the complete tree from database after using enableMultiline(true)?
There is no "redrawing" method in the API.

Multiline should be enabled before adding data.

But you can try to call refreshItem method after enableMultiLineItems method:

tree=new dhtmlXTreeObject(..,..,..,0);
...
tree.setXMLAutoLoading("tree.xml"); /*necessary to set path to the xml for refreshItem method*/

tree.loadXML("tree.xml")
...
function  setMultiline(){
    tree.enableMultiLineItems(true);
    tree.refreshItem(0);
}
