Sort arrows in header

How do I get the sort arrows to show up in the header?  I am using the xp skin and have tried replacing the background-image with just a background-color.  The sort works, but I don't see the ascending/decending arrows.

The sorting images has no relation to the skin settings, so please check the next

a) You set correct path to image folder
    grid.setImagePath(...

b) The sorting images are sort_desc.gif and sort_asc.gif. If you set the same color of background, as the sorting images color they will be hardly detectable.

Not much can be said in addition to the reply above, but you also can check mobile javascript library and dhtml javascript menus and find out what we have probably missed in our explanation.
