Select All check box with smart rendering

In my grid, I have a column with checkbox to select/unselect row.On top of that, I have a 'Select All' check box
to select all items(up to 50,000).

How can I check(grammatically) if a user checks the Top one and will it select ALL box(unRendered) if I am using smart rendering.?
