Scheduler Year View and loadMode?

I'm trying to get my scheduler loading with the scheduler.setLoadMode("month"); and I'm running into issues.  My first default view is month, which loads fine, and as I scroll through months loads ok.  But when I switch to the year view it doesn't seem to load the extra months.  Any ideas?
