How to make the horizontal splitter of dhtmlxLayout thinner

I use dhtmlxLayout of 2E pattern in IE7. I decrease the height of div.dhtmlxPolyInfoBar to make the header thinner,

and then I observe that the horizontal splitter become higher than ever.

So I update the height and in line-height of td.dhtmlxLayoutPolySplitterHor as well as td.dhtmlxLayoutPolySplitterHorInactive

from 5px into 1px. But it can not work and the horizontal splitter is higher than I expect.

Please give me some advice.
