passing extra parameters to vault servlet

Hi,
The xVault API doesn't allow us to pass extra request parameters to the servlet. This is important to create a generic file uploader that can be customised for different purposes rather than having to create three servlet for each case.

In short, can we set request params from javaScript to be handled by UploadHandler?
