combox onChange event

hello,

I am using z.attachEvent("onChange",clearKumiConfirm);    

if I click the combox, the onChange event is Responsed.

but if I manually changed the value of the combox ,the onChange event is not Responsed. why?

how to make the onChange event is Responsed when I manually changed?

Its very urgent .
