open dhtmlx forum
userdata for toolbar?

Doesn't seem to be anyway to put userdata into toolbar.

The toolbar adds certain functionality over the dhtmlxmenu, so I was planning on replacing my dhtmlxMenu with a dhtmlxToolbar.

However, I can't see any way to store multiple data values for a button in the toolbar.

Am I missing something? If a button type is "button", what information can I get when the user clicks this button?

Will we see the addition of userdata functionality to Toolbar in future?

Hello,

unfortunately toolbar doesn't support userdata. So, currently there is no opportunuty to pass additional information in the  xml.

Possibly we'll add userdata. But we can't promise it in the next release
